Our Impactful Projects
At Care House Foundation, we believe in transforming lives by addressing immediate needs and creating long-term opportunities. We are committed to making a lasting impact.
Building Hope, One Life at a Time
Tribal Livelihood & Employment Support
At Care House Foundation, we recognize that sustainable livelihood is the cornerstone of dignity and independence. We work closely with tribal individuals to understand their skills, interests, and aspirations, and guide them toward meaningful employment opportunities.
Our team actively connects them with employers, supports them through the hiring process, and helps them adapt to professional environments. We also encourage entrepreneurial thinking by supporting small-scale initiatives and self-employment, enabling individuals to build stable and long-term sources of income.
Education & Student Support
Education is a powerful tool for transformation, and we are committed to ensuring that tribal children and youth have access to quality learning opportunities. We organize free tuition programs that provide academic support, mentorship, and encouragement to students who often lack educational resources at home.
Our approach focuses not only on improving academic performance but also on building confidence, discipline, and aspiration. By creating a supportive learning environment, we aim to reduce dropout rates and inspire students to pursue higher education and brighter futures.
Women & Youth Empowerment
We believe that empowering women and youth is essential for building resilient communities. Our initiatives focus on equipping women with skills, knowledge, and opportunities that enhance their economic independence and social standing. We support the formation of self-help groups, provide vocational training, and encourage participation in community leadership.
For youth, we create platforms for personal growth, skill development, and leadership, enabling them to become confident individuals who contribute positively to their communities.

Identity & Documentation Support
Access to basic identity documents is often a major barrier preventing tribal communities from receiving government benefits and opportunities. We assist individuals and families in obtaining essential documents such as Aadhaar cards, ration cards, and other legal identifications.
Our work goes beyond paperwork—we guide them through complex administrative systems, ensure proper documentation, and help them enroll in government welfare schemes. By securing their legal identity, we empower them to access rights, services, and opportunities that are crucial for their development.
Skill Development – Barista Training
One of our unique initiatives, "Brew of Hope" is our barista training program conducted through the Rainbow Tree Café. This program provides tribal youth with hands-on training in coffee making, customer service, and hospitality management. More than just a skill, it offers exposure to a professional work environment, builds confidence, and opens doors to employment in the growing hospitality industry.
Tribal Arts & Culture Promotion
The tribal communities of the Nilgiris possess a rich cultural heritage expressed through art, craft, and tradition. We are committed to preserving and promoting these unique forms of expression by creating platforms for tribal artists to showcase their work to a wider audience.
Through exhibitions, collaborations, and market linkages, we help bring their artistry to regional, national, and even global stages. This not only provides artists with income opportunities but also ensures that their cultural identity is celebrated and sustained for future generations.
Agriculture & Market Linkages
Agriculture remains a primary livelihood for many tribal families, particularly in the cultivation of spices and other local produce. However, limited market access often results in unfair pricing and reduced income. We work to bridge this gap by connecting tribal farmers directly with better markets, buyers, and networks that ensure fair value for their products. Additionally, we encourage sustainable farming practices that preserve the environment while improving productivity.
Our goal is to create a system where farmers are not just producers, but empowered stakeholders in the value chain.
Health & Community Wellbeing
Good health is fundamental to overall development, yet many tribal communities have limited access to healthcare services. We organize health awareness programs and collaborate with medical professionals to conduct camps that provide basic check-ups and guidance.
Our efforts also include spreading awareness about nutrition, hygiene, and preventive care. By addressing health challenges at the grassroots level, we aim to improve the overall wellbeing of the community and create a foundation for a healthier future.
