Our Initiative

Every cup of coffee brewed here represents opportunity, learning, and hope.
Empowering Tribal Youth Through Coffee
Brew of Hope is a purpose-driven skill development initiative by Care House Foundation, implemented at Rainbow Tree Café, with the goal of empowering tribal youth in the Nilgiris through professional coffee-making and café hospitality training—leading to meaningful employment opportunities.
Launched in 2025, this initiative is ongoing and is built on the belief that true empowerment comes not only from training, but from access to dignified jobs and sustainable livelihoods.

What we Do
Under Brew of Hope, tribal youth receive structured, hands-on training in a real café environment. The program focuses on both technical and professional skills, including:
Fundamentals of coffee and brewing techniques
Espresso and milk-based beverage preparation
Hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
Customer service and workplace etiquette
Confidence building and professional discipline
The training model emphasizes practical learning, preparing participants to confidently step into café and hospitality roles.

Why Brew of Hope Matters

Our Committment
Brew of Hope is a long-term initiative, not a one-time program. Care House Foundation and Rainbow Tree Café are committed to expanding this effort—training more tribal youth and creating sustainable job opportunities that enable them to build secure and confident futures.
